VW brand is famous for its performance cars. In 1934, Ferdinand Porsche designed a beetle-shaped sedan and named the compact vehicle VW. The plant was damaged during the second world war and went under the control of British army. During 1940s the brand produced number of beetle-shaped sedan and the model was introduced in US in 1949. The versatile Bus became very famous and also the Beetle car attracted many customers. In 1950s the company launched Karmann Ghia, a two-seater sports car.
